Abstract Submission
Abstract submission guidelines for ISOHTEL 2024:
- Please use the Abstract Template for your oral presentation, poster, and round table submissions.
- The abstract must be anonymized. Do not include authors' names in the abstract. Ensure your name is not mentioned in the abstract, as a reference, or in the title of the abstract document.
- Abstracts should be around 400-500 words (excluding examples and references) and include information on the subject, research question, method, and general conclusion. Please submit your abstract as an PDF document using the abstract template.
- Please state your presentation type (face-to-face or online).
- All abstract submissions should be made through EasyAbs.
- Abstract submission deadline: August 2, 2024
Abstract Evaluation Criteria
The abstracts to be sent to the symposium will be evaluated by the scientific committee according to the following criteria:
- Relevance of the abstract for the symposium
- Originality of the study
- A clear presentation of the purpose of the study/research questions
- A clear presentation of the significance of the study
- A clear presentation of the theoretical framework of the study
- The design used in the study (method, data collection, analysis, etc.)
- Explanation of the findings based on data and analyses
- Relevance of the findings to current debates in the field of teaching Turkish as a heritage language or as a foreign language
- Contribution to the field
- Appropriateness of the bibliography
