This multiplier event of “LANGUAGE TREE” project is a face-to-face international symposium
hosted by Institution for Turkish Studies, Integration and Research. The symposium will
focus on bilingualism and language teaching of immigrants. In the papers selected to be
presented at the symposium, priority will be given to studies on the language needs of
bilingual Turkish youth in Europe and young immigrants in Türkiye, who are also the target
group of the project. In addition, “Speaking Skills Needs Analysis for Bilingual Turkish
Youth in Europe and Young Immigrants in Türkiye"and "Curriculum of Interactive Speaking
Activities", which are among the results of the project, will be presented and discussed in
two special sessions in this symposium.
